I'm rather obsessed with roses and am at my happiest when tending to them in the garden. I'll often have a little chat with them while wondering at their beauty. I gathered these fresh pink roses early one August morning and tried to capture their elegance and charm in my painting. The pretty Burleigh jug is called Blue Chintz, I loved recreating the tiny geranium leaf detail.
