'Hellebores in Pheasant Jug' by Susie Hamilton
In the late winter it's such a joy to spot a hellebore. Although hardy, I think they are also quite shy, with their little faces cast downwards. It's so rare in February to see such strong colours: mulberry, wine, buttermilk and lime. The hellebore petals are so pretty, some patterns like freckles, others like polkadots. I particularly like the delicate edging on this Burleigh jug and the pheasant hiding amongst the foliage.
My cards are made using high grade 350 gsm artist’s card from sustainable forests. The brown eco-envelopes are made from 100% recycled paper.
