I adore sweet peas and have wanted to paint them for such a long time, but as they are such a special flower to me, I wasn’t sure I could do them justice. This summer I decided it was time to just go for it and this is what I came up with.

To me their scent is completely divine and it overwhelms my senses, so I decided to capture how the sweet peas made me feel rather than just how they look, and I felt such freedom and lightness while painting them.
