'Blossom in Blackbird Jug' by Susie Hamilton
So far this springtime has been rather fresh and so I’ve tried to capture this using a palette of cool colours. The upside of this colder weather is that the beautiful blossoms have lingered for a little longer than usual. Often it's the plucky blackbird that begins the dawn chorus. Raising two or three broods they'll continue singing their beautiful songs right through until midsummer.
