'Poppies in Green Jug' by Susie Hamilton
In this painting I've tried to capture those long hot July days as the warm summer breeze blows across the meadows and the delicate poppies raise their heads to the skies.
As summer takes hold and the long grasses turn a pale golden, the vibrant poppies emerge as bright beacons.
I love the shapes the poppy stems make as they bend and twirl, almost as if they are dancing from the jug. I see them as the free spirits of wild flower world.
Beautifully printed on sustainably sourced, high quality 350gsm museum grade paper.
Prints are available in three sizes as follows:
